Multilayer Polypropylene Pipework and Fittings

High-Quality Pipework

HIGH QUALITY POLYPROPYLENE

The product line consists of a multilayer pipe with mono and dual sockets, and fittings in PP, ranging from a diameter of 32 mm up to 160 mm. Pipes and fittings have a “mo-no-lip” seal that ensures a great hydraulic seal even during backflow.

The PP copolymer is composed of a molecular chain of polypropylene and ethylene, whose combination gives greater elasticity. Laboratory tests demonstrate resistance to ageing of over 50 years.

Our pipes and fittings are compliant with standard UNI EN 1451-1.

Innovative Technology

High stength and quality

A range of multilayer pipes made of polypropylene copolymer (molecular chain of polypropylene and ethylene) + reinforcing charges, diameter from 32 to 160 mm.

Pipe Marking
Multilayer Pipe, Extruder no., PP, DN x thickness, HTEM or HTDM, certificates and reference name, production date.

Chemical Resistance

From DN 32 to 160mm. Pipes are also available in double-socket versions up to DN 125mm.

The Anti-Slip Collar

Quality polyethylene pipework

The anti-slip collar also allows the inserting system to be used for the types of drains that currently use welded joints (e.g. horizontal collectors, visible systems, etc.), thereby lowering the labour costs and reducing the incidence of fastening systems.

The anti-slip collar consists of two half-rings made of galvanised steel equipped with rounded teeth on one side that, under the pressure induced by tightening of the clamping screws, deform the protective outer layer of the pipe, taking advantage of the polypropylene’s visco-plastic characteristics.

Small cavities of about 0.5 mm deep are formed, where the teeth provide grip to ensure a mechanical axial seal that is not merely based on friction.

These small cavities formed on the surface do not reduce the resistance of the pipe, because the characteristics of the material itself are not affected by surface incisions and because the incisions do not affect the load-bearing layer
(the central one).

Screws with self-locking nuts ensure the stability of the connection over time without the need for a torque wrench.

It is sufficient to hand-tighten the screws until the perforated lugs come in contact in order to achieve the correct interpenetration of the collar on the surface of the pipe or of the fitting shank and thereby ensure the axial seal of the connection.
